UTMB Spring 2012

Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

I agree with ledestiny, it's probably a good thing!

Has anyone else who had an interview last Thursday for the Traditional program not heard anything back? I know it's too soon for me to expect a response from them, but I did see that one person who interviewed last Thursday already got accepted.

Hi guys, I've been following this forum and just made a account because I received my acceptance email yesterday at 2:47. I was in the first batch of interviews on Sep 9 so this day has been a long wait. I'm sooooo excited!!! Can't wait to meet the rest of my class! I think im the youngest one from what I gathered on here when yall did ages posts back. I'm 20, and I dont turn 21 till end of july lol.

Don't worry, I'm young too Britttty! I just graduated from high school in June of 2010 and I won't turn 21 til September next year. Glad to know I'm not the only young one around! :)

I'm also new to this site, but I think it's great that everyone is here sharing their info. I received my acceptance email yesterday!!! I was very surprised because I did not receive an interview!! I'm pretty shocked, but honored and excited to start nursing school!

I'll be commuting. Clinicals can range any where from med center to galveston...

So about that Facebook page...Whats the deal... Does one of us need to start one? I don't mind doing it...but I am not in yet and don't think I will want to upkeep if I dont get in...lol

Yes.. I tried yesterday and couldn't get one up... By all means--please open one if you can and add several of us as admins...

Can somebody please explain the loan thing to me? I see that tuition alone is around 15,500... Can I get enough loans each semester to cover this, books and travel?

Ok so I just got an email to do a second interview....as if the first one wasn't torture enough lol ahhhhh anybody else interviewing tomorrow?!?!
