Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

Yeah, I didn't see anybody on here get an invite last week for traditional BSN... Who got invites?

Just got a reply from the preadmin counselor. She said only one round of invites has gone out for the traditional bsn program so far and that the next batch is coming soon.

I wonder how soon "soon" actually is lol. I really hope it is sometime this week.

princess, are you in a different program? You're getting different info than we are.

I just actually got an invite for the traditional BSN program. I had originally applied to the BACC2 program but was told last friday that I wasn't be considered for it. I have an interview on Thursday for the traditional program.

You got an acceptance into the traditional program or an invite to interview?

Either way, Congratulations!! And, I hope the rest of our's are coming out very soon...

Still haven't gotten a reply to the email I sent last week :-(

It looks like that batch was concentrated in the BACC group... Didn't see any invites on this side...

I'm sorry! I guess I should clarify...I just got an interview invite to the traditional BSN program. Not exactly what I was going for, but I'll take it! Does anyone else still need to interview or most everyone already done it? What were the interviews like?

Yes, when I called they said that there were very few invites left for interviews for the traditional bsn program. Most of the invites were for the bacc2 program. I think all that are left are people who did not make the BACC2 and are now being considered for the traditional bsn program.

Congrats! On 1 group of Invites for the Traditional Program has went out and that group actually Interviewed on the 9th of September. Thus far no other batch of Interviews has gone out for the Traditional Program!

Anyone know how many of the interviewees actually make it into the program?
