Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

Hi everyone : )

So...hoping emails go out soon! Does everyone know what type of outfit they will wear? I know business but how formal? Those that interviewed what did you wear and why were others wearing? Any suits or just business professional dress? Like skirt or slacks and nice shirt?

Also someone told me they were told by someone at the school that the first batch of applicants were those with a 3.7 or 3.6 and higher pre req and/or those who were in the work study program at utmb. They also told her that drops on transcripts hurt a lot and she may not have a great chance of getting interviewed because of that?!!!! However, I have a friend who got an interview with a 3.7, 4.0 science, and had drops, even some sciences. So...? Thoughts? I also noticed some who got interviews had gpa's lower than 3.6 so I'm

ok thanks! It makes me feel a little better....Every day that comes and goes I get so nervous..lol I want an invite SO BAD!!!! And I am trying so hard to patiently await the next round to go out. It gets to the point that I am so scared to check on here, in fear that the next round has gone out and that I didnt get an invite...

Also, sounds like Enrollment Services was having some glitches this afternoon.

I had my email last Friday and I also got that same email around 6 today... I checked my to do list but every thing is already finished so I'm not sure what to think... Hoping it's suppose to be an acceptance email but there was a mistake in email templates!! Lol SUPER HOPING!! A girl can dream...

I recieved that same email today too! My heart sank when I saw it was from UTMB, but unfortunately it was an email that Ive already had sent to me! I think they are messing with our heads...grrr this waiting thing is absolutely killing me! I'm checking my email at least 5 times a day and it hasnt even been a week since my interview...

It's strange that a couple of us that Interviewed last Friday received this Email from Enrollment Services. I could be wrong but I feel there is something to this email becAuse we have to accept our admission through MyStar. Enrollment Services works through MyStar so I'm contacting them tomorrow to asked them about this. Does anybody else feel the same?

My boyfriend just started the program this semester, i checked his email and he got his acceptance by email on a Tuesday... Fingers crossed that that was our acceptance!! I guess all we cam do is wait until morning and call and see what that email was about. Hopes up!! :)
