UTMB Spring 2012

Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

I got about 10 days. Got an email on Wednesday of last week and interview is on this Friday...

I'm SO excited! Well, and a little nervous... The nerves are started to set in a little bit. I am crazy busy at school and home so I have pretty much no time at all to go over interview stuff... I hope to have some time Thursday to go over it all... Yikes--I'm nervous/excited!!!

Any one else get an interview this Friday morning? Maybe we'll see each other?

I was also told the same thing. I hope we all hear something soon. Btw: When did you apply?

I applied in June, I think right before the June 15th deadline. I'm pretty sure they already had my transcripts and TEAS scores, however I did upload an unofficial copy on the application just in case. And I did call several days in a row just before the deadline to make sure they had everything.

Just got off the phone with the SON...they said my app hasnt been looked at yet and that it should be being viewed as we speak or very soon. I was also informed that Interviews are going to be held every friday in September...so HOPEFULLY the 2nd batch of invites gets out today or tomorrow for this friday!

Hopefully mine is in that same group as yours being looked at right now. And yeah, I'm hoping they can keep up a regular pace for these interview invites and get them out tomorrow!

I have an interview on Friday as well! What time is yours? Mine is about 11 AM, but I plan on getting there about 30 minutes early. I'm SUPER nervous!!

My appointment is at 9 am, but I plan on getting there at 8 or so...

@ rocket_ryder: When you called what exactly did you ask? I wanted to call them too and my status recently changed to complete but I only have sent in a courses in progress transcript and I had been told before that my status would say "incomplete" until I sent in a final one. I haven't sent a final one yet so that kind of confuses me.

Hope to see you guys as well! I have a Interview scheduled for 10:30 and I'm so excited but nervous. Hopefully my nerves don't get the best of me but i wish you all good luck i will be there round 9:45 so i can try and get rid of the butterflies that i have in my stomach. Friday is a make and brake you day:bowingpur and I'll be praying throughout...

My interview is Friday at 8:30 in the morning and I am so nervous. I've been researching interview tips and other advice for the interview. I really hope I get in! I also already got my outfit, so that takes some stress off of me.
