Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

FYI UT Houston people are getting in left and right today and my status hasnt changed....I am in tears.....and to not have the comfort of UTMB as my backup or IF they even want to interview me....I am REALLY sad guys.....I know UT is posting stuff for today and tomorrow so its not over for me but I am sad everybody else is celebrating and I am still in limbo

I was just practicing my reply to that UTMB question! I plan to use a scholarship from the Phi Theta Kappa group, grants, and lastly student loans.

There are a lot of scholarships out there for nursing students, but you gotta be accepted first :stone.

I'll get my list of scholarships programs together and post them for everyone.

OMG..I thought they were notifying you guys on the 15th!

Don't give up EMAG, I think you said your interview was on the last day, so maybe they haven't gotten to your name yet.

OMG....I have been reading UTHSC forum and I was just thinking that UTMB is opening another application period and we still haven't received interviews. I hope we know our status with them before Thanksgiving.

I know everyone is going to be asking me over and over again if I got accepted yet.

Emag, I'm in your same boat with UTMB. From what I can tell, everyone on here who interviewed for the BACC2 program got an acceptance letter, but I'm still in limbo. I already retracted my UT application, so this is it. Today my husband hand-delivered a letter to me from UTMB. I opened it to see it was my physician's appointment confirmation letter. Just remember, UTLink only updates once a day, while the site is down in the middle of the night, so you won't see it update until tomorrow no matter what. HTH.

Well I never got a Bacc2 interview so you guys be thankful for that :(

Please pray that I'm good enough for the traditional interview! I really really really want this. Not loosing hope! Good luck everybody, and congrats to those who are making it!

Albkat- I will put in a prayer for you tonight. I sure hope that we all get in together. Our chances seem better at UTMB compared to the number of applicants at UT- Houston.

Hey just wanted to let yall know that I got into Ut houston. my interview at UTMB is supposed to be friday but I dont think Im going to go. Good luck to everyone ... at least Im opening up a spot for someone else in the Bacc2 program.

Did most of you guys that apply to UTHSC only have UTMB as ur backup? PV and TWU are in the Houston area as well and they are both great schools.Some of the ppl who got into TWU that applied to UTHSC are going back and forth between which school to choose,since some say they heard today.Luckily UTHSC didn't take as long as expected so all the UT applicants can hear something soon.I hope you guys get an email tommorow! Tomorrow is another day so stay positive!

Good luck to everyone still processing with their interviews and congratulations to everyone who got accepted. I just got accepted for nursing school but it is for University of Texas at Tyler for Spring 2010. I used to live in Houston, but now I live in Tyler. I applied to UTMB, TWU, and UT Houston. To let you know, things happen for a reason. I never gave up on applying that I was willing to sacrifice and leave home just to have that opportunity to be a nurse. Good luck to everyone, you are in my prayers. Just keep persevering and never give up because I tell you, it is sooooo worth it when you get that acceptance letter...Hard work does pay off and that feeling is priceless...All of us will be starting nursing school at the same time and graduating at the same time even if its in different locations....

I get accepted to UTMB BACC2 spring 2010. and think of changing to generic BSN spring 2010 because of the work load. Can the SON accept my request?

need your advice and suggestion before I call and ask
