Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

I don't have access to any of that stuff yet either. I'm sure they will let us know how to use all of the online stuff during orientation. Don't panic yet...we haven't even started school! If you don't see your immunizations I would call student wellness and see what is going on. Chances are they lost it. They lost some of my stuff too and I had to resend it.

My immunizations updates. Definately give them a call...however that is about the only thing I can see.

Hello AVaughn! Welcome to our group!

we have been pretty frustrated with utmb as well, everything seems disorganized and we're all trying to figure out what our lives for the next year are going to entail. there seems to be so many random deadlines too. they're still getting out financial aid info, i'm sure you'll get everything you need soon.

Hi All.

1) Anybody seen their immunization record in Econnect?

I had my immunization record mailed Nov 23 but still does not show up in Econnect.

2) Anybody seen their courses in Blackboard? I cannot yet.

3) Can anybody access their UTMB email? I cannot yet.

NO NO and NO lol. they haven't got my financial aid either :(

zero, zip, nada. It prob wouldn't have helped that i turned in my immunization last friday lol.

You are so lucky JAZZY!

1. My immunizations are in e-connects ONLY because I sent them back in July.

2. My Financial Aid is in there cause I bugged the heck out of them, but now that I have an offer (made today) my student need is not met and I have to seek private loans and most banks want a cosigner or they say you can't be over a certain age.

3. I don't have any classes on the blackboard and no email access.

4. We missed most scholarship deadlines for the spring because we were not accepted in time.

oh there is some good news... they have received my updated transcript electronically.

Hey guys, I know everything is going slow on your end but dont worry you are not the only school it is happening to. They told us that all of us transfer wouldn't be able to register until the first day of orientation because we were not fully in the computer. So the people that had been in PV since prerequisites get first choice of the classes. Now that sucks. But I of course harrased the heck out of them and asked for my pin anyways to register just in case and guess what I was able to register. LOL!!! The first transfer to register but some of the classes were already full from the other students who didnt transfer in. So keep hope alive.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so today I finally got my information packet too! I went ahead and ordered all of my books ($600 later) and got my PDA set up (another $250). I feel broke....

Also, I got electricity ready to go in my apt (moving Friday!!!) and now all I need is internet, scrubs, and all of the other random supplies...I think we can buy a kit at orientation though so I guess I'll just wait.

I really hope they get us the money we are supposed to be getting soon. I could use that right about now.

Still haven't been registered for classes and still am not able to get on Blackboard or email. However, it did say in the info pkt that we would get all of our info for BB and email during the orientation so I'm not going to worry about it.

Has anyone gotten an email password? I sent my nondisclosure form in my packet and another through fax and nothing yet. Just called and the lady said the person that handles that is out. Ugh.

Hi Sherbevs,

1) No, I called and they are backed up. "A" from student wellness said just to bring a copy to orientation as back up in case they have not entered it into the computer.

2) We will not have access to Blackboard until we are registered. I received a Spring calendar in the snail-mail on Saturday.

3)We won't have access to the UTMB e-mail until we have a badge and have heard the IT blurb at orientation.

Hello everyone,

I just happened to stumble upon this amazing website. I have been accepted to UTMB SON and will begin Spring 2010. I have been trying to catch up will all of your comments and I love the spirit you each bring. I look forward to meeting all of you on Jan 5th. I myself have been trying to work down my "Thing-to-do" list. Can anyone tell me what they are doing for Health Ins, are you applying to the health plan provided by UTMB or is it cheaper to get from elsewhere?

I am soo excited!!!
