UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

Call them as soon as possible!

No they had all of my stuff. I will keep trying to get ahold of someone.

I'm only saying that cause that's what happened to my friend last semester. They threw out her application cause they either never received or misplaced her test scores, but it could be anything, definitely keep trying.

If I may ask, what was the score of your science section of the TEAS?

If there is a green circle does it mean they have received everything including test score?

Do you have an idea of the number of people who applied this Spring and how many students they normally pick?

They're picking about 132. I went to the open house recently, and that's what she said. There were between 400 and 600 applicants if I remember correctly.

Did they say anything more about what cumulative/science GPA is competitive?

She said they haven't admitted anybody below a 3.2 in a few years, but she didn't say much about the science, just that it had to be above a 3.0.

I read forums where people were accepted with 2.9 prereqs and 3.0 science so we'll see in this admission cycle!

132 is not bad at all. I just hope I get in. I have a 4.0 science gpa and a 3.87 cumulative gpa. TEAS V score is however, not impressive. Had 83.3 on TEAS V. So will the program be online or the traditional classroom type?
