UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

A friend of mine who was wait listed for spring received her acceptance for summer, and she never had to do an interview all over again. Maybe it's an error on UTMB's end that yall are receiving interview emails.

Awe man. Maybe not everyone gets in right away? I received a phone call, not an email. Maybe they're iffy on me and just want a second impression? I'll find out soon enough, my interview is this coming Monday.

I'm also waitlisted for spring, and they called and asked me to come in for a 2nd interview for summer consideration. My interview is also Monday. I was hoping one interview was good enough. I'm still nervous going for the 2nd time.

I was waitlisted for spring. I changed my application to summer. I wasn't asked to come in for a second interview. Do y'all think this is bad? Does anyone know how many spring people were accepted for summer? They told me I would hear back in a few weeks, but if y'all have heard back already that makes me nervous.

She received her acceptance 2 days ago. I'm not sure whether she received a call or email since she's doing study abroad in Costa Rica right now. She was interviewed in the spring to be considered for waitlist. Then she received news of her being put into the wait list shortly after her interview. Like many others, she also was automatically considered for summer, and just 2 days ago, she got accepted for summer. She's still waiting to possibly hear back for spring though.

I was waitlisted for spring also, but I got taken off the waitlist late November and I declined the offer. I received a call from admissions a few days ago though telling me to decline my offer in writing for it to be "official." So hopefully that gives you guys a better chance to be taken off the waitlist. :)

Hey guys, I haven't posted on here yet but thought I would start. I was wait listed for Spring and put on priority and still haven't heard anything. Tuesday I got word that my friend who also was on the spring waitlist was accepted for summer. She didn't even get asked for the interview she just got in.

Nope! Still waiting my 2nd interview was a lot harder, in my opinion. How about yours?

I actually thought mine went better than the first time! They said I would hear back before Jan 5, but my days are numbered!!! ? and I have not heard anything yet...

I just wanted to say that I was admitted for Summer 2015 on Dec 16, no interview needed. I know of another student who was on the waiting list who was also automatically admitted for Summer 2015. Sorry for the late update, the holidays kept me busy! Best of luck to whoever is still on the waiting list... I got my Christmas miracle after all!
