UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

I am.. I'm not sure if they're done with interview invites or not but I haven't received a denial letter..but I'm slowly losing hope.

HIIII, I received an interview invite after I followed up on my application process! Did you every get a response back??

I think they had a hiccup recently. I overheard the interview scheduler talk about how everyone was behind. I also assumed they'd be meeting next week so I made sure to schedule my interview as soon as possible so maybe I'd hear back with this next wave of invites/acceptances.

Do you know what class your interviewer taught? Mine is a coordinator for Adult 1 and 2, really sweet.

Hope everything goes well for! I don't remember what mine taught, I was nervous lol...

I have absolutely no idea and I wish I could be helpful. Calling always seems to be the best way to get in contact, so that's the only advice I can give. As for who to call? It depends on what information you're wanting, but usually either the SON Registrars office or Admissions office are the two you'd be contacting.

I think they meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Last couple of waves went out on Wednesday or Thursday, so that's my assumption.

I emailed and was told they are meeting tomorrow!!! :)

I had my interview today

And yeah I asked my interviewer when panel was meeting next. And she said likely tomorrow.

Yeah I got lucky! Interview went great, I was very prepared to answer all of her questions thanks to the previous posts :) my interviewer was a professor Dorsey, she was really easy to talk to!
