I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

I don't mind sharing. My overall gpa/prereq gpa was 3.76. My science gpa was a 3.56 (or close to it. Can't remember exactly) and my teas score was a 74 with a 90 on the science portion. (I managed to do not so fantastic on the math since I ran out of time with 13 questions left).

My stats are not as competitive as everyone else's, but I put all of my heart into my personal statement and I had a great interview.

Overall gpa 3.1

Natural sciences 3.25

TEAS 74

This is what is on nursingCAS but when I calculated them myself my gpa's were a little higher.

I am living proof that it is possible to get in with slightly lower stats.

My interview was July 1st. I was accepted July 10th.

My science gpa was 4.0 though I have Biology to take. My overall was also 4.0 and my TEAS was 83.3. No one should get discouraged if he or she has not been confirmed yet. So far as there has not been a rejection letter, everybody has a fair chance of getting in.

My interview was on July 3rd (accepted August 11th).

I have a 3.2 overall GPA, Science GPA is around a 3.4 and I scored a 93.3 on my TEAS.

Just saw this. I have a 3.6overall gpa, 3.5 science gpa and 82 on Teas with about an 82 avg on each section

If you're feeling discouraged and worried about your scores, I hope this makes you feel better. I graduated from UT with a BA in Bio, but I only had a 2.9 science GPA and a 3.3 overall when everything was said and done. I made a 92.7 on my TEAS (92.9 reading, 90 math, 97.9 science, and 90 english). I think my personal statement is what solidified my acceptance. My interview was on July 2nd and I was accepted on the 11th of July.
