UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

I haven't scheduled an exact date yet, I will be doing that tomorrow

Oh they didn't send an email saying you can schedule it between July 14th through the 24th (just an example)

It said that interviews can be scheduled anytime from now up until the end of July.

Congrats to y'all for the interviews! It'll be great! Everyone is very friendly and it's really not a stressful experience.

I wonder if that means they aren't going to make decisions yet on the interviews they've already done. Hmm.

Just wanted to chime in, I also have not heard anything since the interview. My interviewer did say things could take 4-8 weeks because last week was only the first set of interviews.

How many sets did they say there'd be? It feels like ages getting any sort of answer! Haha.

I wore a nice conservative dress, but slacks and a nice button down would also be appropriate. It's business casual.

Think of it as a job interview. If you wouldn't wear it to get a job, don't wear it to interview for nursing school.

Another piece of advice, wear something that makes you feel confident. You'd be surprised at what a good outfit can do for you. Try not to be nervous. I genuinely enjoyed my interview, and many others have said they did as well. We should all be proud that we've gotten this far.
