UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

I'm debating on whether or not to just go ahead and email her. Thoughts?

Unfortunately, I'm at work and can't call right now, but I'm thinking I probably will go ahead and email her, I'm just not sure what to ask.

I know that I'll have to know soon to figure out housing options. I'm not sure if that's the same for others.

Okay guys, give me a list of questions, and when I email, I'll see what information I can get. No promises though.

I just wanted to know when we would hear back. Like this month? You can wait if you want. We know they are reviewing them. Emailing and calling might just delay it even more.

Well I was told during my interview if I hadn't heard anything by August 1st, to definitely call and ask for the status of my application. Truthfully, I just want to know when the admissions committee meets, so I can have some kind of time frame.

Also, I know the admissions committee met on the 24th of June and that they meet twice a month, so maybe it will be sometime soon as it's been about two weeks since their last meeting.

Yeah, I don't think I'll be emailing her unless it's to ask about the phone call and make sure that my info is correct since there was an issue and she called about it.

Definitely. I'm doing my best to give up the anxiety and stay positive. We were in the first wave of interviews, so chances are we're up pretty high in the ranks. It's only been a week so no reason to be anything but.
