UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

My interview was at 10 am and I also greatly enjoyed my interviewer. Did any of you have Mrs. W?

If you don't mind, what was your TEAS score?

Hi, y'all! I'm in the same boat as far as waiting nervously by my computer with my phone super glued to my hand. It's nerve wracking! I interviewed on the 7/2 and now I'm just waiting. I had a great TEAS score, but I'm a bit worried about my GPA. ): Good luck to everyone!

I took it once and got:

Overall-- 92.7

Reading-- 92.9

Math-- 90

Science-- 97.9

English/Language-- 90

Hope that helps/reassures you in some way. My GPA is pretty low, though. I have a 3.3 overall and a 2.91 science GPA. Cell Bio and OChem really kicked my butt.

That is such an outstanding score. I surely believe you will be given an admission.

I took it once and got:

I think we're all feeling the same kind of pressure. It's definitely weighing heavy on my nerves.

I think it's pretty crazy how we all interviewed on the same day. Anybody here anything at all yet? I've been in a panic since I got that phone call yesterday.

No. I'm still trying to work up the courage to. I don't want to be annoying, but that was a kind of strange phone call. If I don't hear anything by next week I've decided I'm going to email her and ask about the phone call. I'm hoping that since (from reading the fall 2014 thread) most people found out on Tuesdays and Thursdays that maybe I/we will find something out today since they were obviously looking at files yesterday. I'm not sure if I already said this, but I found out (from the same thread) that (at least last admissions cycle) they meet on Mondays, so that also leads me to believe/hope that they made some decisions and are working on sending emails and changing status' as I type this.
