UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

What all did they tell you about decision times? I'm tempted to email the lady that called me and ask, but I don't want to annoy anyone.

I spoke with the woman who interviewed me and she didn't really know. Then I called and spoke with a man and he said probably 4-6 weeks because they want to have a handful of applications to review not just one or two

I don't think it would be a bad idea to call and ask. As long as you don't continue to email and call

Hmm...I wonder why he would tell you that, and my lady would tell me August 1st. I mean I guess that's technically four weeks, but she made it seem like it would be sooner than that.

Hi, y'all! I'm in the same boat as far as waiting nervously by my computer with my phone super glued to my hand. It's nerve wracking! I interviewed on the 7/2 and now I'm just waiting. I had a great TEAS score, but I'm a bit worried about my GPA. ): Good luck to everyone!

I have a great gpa but a less than stellar teas score, so I know how you feel. My interview was also 7/2.

Yeah, I just graduated from UT with a BA in Bio. My last two semesters of classes were killer and my GPA went down quite a bit (plus I took a bunch of engineering classes back when I was a ChemE). I wish you the best! I keep looking for an email but I know it's too soon after the interview for an acceptance/denial. Eek!

I interviewed on 7/2 also. I went at 3pm and I was the only one

My interview was at 2:30 and I was there for a little less than an hour. I had a really great time talking with my interviewer. Hope you had a great experience, too! (:

My interview was at 10 am and I also greatly enjoyed my interviewer. Did any of you have Mrs. W?

I don't think I did. I can't remember my interviewer's name for the life of me. Ughhhhh. I think her last name started with an L?
