UTMB Spring 2014 Applicants

The application process has just gotten under way for UTMB spring admission. Has anyone taken the TEAS tests? Any helpful hints on getting a high score?

I only scored a 75 on my TEAS. Which I think is the lowest in this forum that I've seen so far and my interview is tomorrow at 1:)

Would you guys mind sharing your teas score so I can se where I stand as far as reviewing an interview invite.

I made an 82 on my TEAS. I think they're looking at gpa's first and then TEAS scores second.

I received an 84 on my teas with an overall 3.1 gpa.

I made an 80 on my teas and a GPA of around 3.6

it's definitely not just your gpa and teas score, they're looking at your personal statement and everything

At the open house they talked about the teas science and english were the most important test grade because they think its a true indication of how you do in science and for english how well you will be able to read the textbook. But they look at everything and I think especially your personal statement.

zeldazelda, I had my interview on October25th and was accepted yesterday. When was your interview? I'm sure you will hear something very soon.

I got emailed for an interview and it's this Thursday so I'm nervous and excited. Can anybody tell me how their interview process went? I'm very nervous but excited to get to have the opportunity to at least be considered for admission but the nervousness just doesn't go away! Lol

As far as my scores my Teas was only a 74 and my GPA is a 3.65 and my Science GPA is a 4.0. So although I did get a low teas score compared to others on here I did get an interview invite so others in close to my situation should not loose hope. All is possible!

Congrats on your admission. I also had mine on 10/25. Still waiting to hear something though.
