sallypink07, I have not had to put down a deposit to UTMB after I accepted. Also with the tuition worksheet of UTMB they added in some things like distance education which, if you do not have online classes you do not pay. So the total cost per semester should be very similar to UTHSC. Hope that helps in your decision making! I was accepted to UTHSC but will be withdrawing my acceptance because I got into UTMB and it is my first choice! So another spot will be open!

I am on the waitlist and have applied to spring 2014! Hoping to get in either semester! I've been trying to keep busy to take my mind off the wait. But the wait for this semester is almost over since classes start end of August. Just have to wait and see. And hope hope hope haha.

ok, I wanted to let you know since the exact same thing happened to me lol.

I was reading back a couple pages and saw this. Yes you need to repeat the series or, depending on what your doctor might say, get a booster. After the booster you can get the titer 4-6 weeks later. But I would go ahead and get one or the other done. I think as long as you have 2 shots by the time the semester starts you will be ok.... but you may want to call student health and ask what it means and what needs to be done before school starts. Hope this helps!

I think we get a call. Several people have said they got rejected by email. So im holding my breath for a call and every time I check my email I get nervous lol. I hear a lot of people do not even get called until orientation or after so we may be waiting until late August.... Waiting is hard but it's worth it for UTMB.

You could call and ask. But, normally you are never stuck. They know that sometimes things happen that make you unable to attend. So you should be able to tell San Jac no if you get into UTMB.

I figured I didnt know how many people were on the waitlist, how many people accepted and I could be last on the list... so figured it would be best to apply again.
