UTMB Spring 2014 Applicants

Published

The application process has just gotten under way for UTMB spring admission. Has anyone taken the TEAS tests? Any helpful hints on getting a high score?

anybody mind telling me what questions they ask during the interview???

Hi guys! i had my interview last thursday and I got accepted as well!

The questions were very simple and the interviewer is very comfortable to talk to! Don't worry about it too much. I almost had a nervous breakdown but during the interview I was like omg I can't believe I was so nervous over this! I didn't get stuck on any of the questions.

After accepting admission did any of your checks turn back to a green circle?

Mine did, it scared me I thought it was supposed to turn into a yellow triangle after accepting.

Mine also said conditionally. It's because I haven't finished my prerequisites.

I have all the prerequisites though... I'm in pharmacology and pathophysiology this semester... but they don't transfer to UTMB... maybe the Patho is going towards my BIOL elective... I don't know. It also said pending a background check, which I knew about that.

I think it says conditionally for everyone cause I finished all of mine too. The official letter in the mail doesn't say conditionally. Anyone who received their official letters in the mail, if you didn't finish your pre-reqs, were they already listed for you on that one page? I know I've finished mine, but you know that paranoid feeling that you're forgetting a class lol

I haven't received anything in the mail yet. I am having that same feeling too lol I am working on my last two prerequisites now.

do yall know if geology can count as your science elective?

I have two prereqs to complete, they were listed on my physical letter.

I received an Interview invite today!:) Congrats to everyone accepted so far, I hope to join you soon! Could anyone tell me if the interview was one on one or a panel?

The interview was with one person and I'm not sure about the geology being a science elective. Online there is a transfer equivalency list it should most likely tell you there.
