The application process has just gotten under way for UTMB spring admission. Has anyone taken the TEAS tests? Any helpful hints on getting a high score?
I don't think its really fair to any of the applicants that have already interviewed to list out what any of questions are going to be. Just try to relax during the actual interview, know that you already meet their requirements and they are just trying to see if you are a good fit for their program.
Congrats and good luck!
I agree with everyone else's feelings about the actual interview. I think it's important to note it does go by very quickly and it is quite relaxed.@Jayc: did you decide on which school you are going to attend? Just my two cents, I think it's important to think about which school's degree you would be proud to have hanging in your home. The difference in NCLEX pass rates is very small between the two (around 3 points). All that's left to consider is the commute and financial aspect.
Again, congrats to all the admits and people who have received an interview invite.
Good luck everyone!
Hi marthavick. Yes I have made a decision already. I will accept my acceptance at UTHSC once I get the formal letter soon! Despite the partial scholarship that I am offered each semester @ UTMB, I believe I would do better academically in UTHSC simply because of the commute. I live literally 3-5 min drive from the UTHSC and I would rather use the 2 hour + mentally tiring commute I would have to spend going to UTMB and back to study more instead. Plus there's always scholarship opportunities at UTHSC so hopefully I could qualify for one as well!
Congrats to everyone who has already been interviewed and has just received an invitation! Good luck and do your best for the interviews because there will be another spot available at UTMB for you one of guys =).
