UTMB Fall 2010 Application period starts tomorrow Nov. 15, 2009

Who here is applying for it?

Btw, there is the ATI TEAS entrance exam for FALL 2010.

Anyone taken it yet?

I can't seem to find the registration for it in the atitesting.com.

My interview went really, really well yesterday! It was nice getting to meet some of yall.

The lady that interviewed me was amazing! She was so nice and the whole thing was very informal. She showed me the paper with the ten questions and then she showed me the paper she had to fill out at the end of the interview. One of the questions she had to answer about me was whether she recommended me for acceptance, a 2nd interview, or denial. She chose acceptance, but I am not getting too excited until I here something official from UTMB.

She said she didn't know much about the application process in terms of the number of people who applied vs. the number of people excepted and dates when we would have a final answer, but she did say she thought that it would be two weeks. I hope not, since the first group of interviews received their letters of acceptance within the week.

Good news for those of you who haven't heard anything yet. She said that she believed there would be a third interview date on Monday.

Again though, this is just what she told me and I know other people have been told other things. We will just have to wait and see.

For all of those who had their interviews on the first date: Did any of you not get a letter of acceptance yet or haven't heard anything? Do you know of anyone who had a 1st interview and not heard anything?

Oh and a warning to the people and future people who got accepted! I was signing up to take my CPR training this weekend and would have an experation date of March 2012 that i thought would be okay because in our packet it said it needed to have like a may june july or august of 2011 experation date.. and thank goodness I called because that was a typeo.. It needs to have an experation date of may june july or august of 2012 not 2011.. and since they last 2 years we have to wait untill may.

Finally, I got an interview letter today. I spoke with this lady at UTMB yesterday and she told me my name was among the people that were gonna receive interview invites but I thought I heard her wrong, am so relieved now. My Interview is on the 29th. I got a 54 in my TEAS science section and a 71 composite, I almost gave up hope when I saw some of the posted TEAS scores

Does anyone know what to expect/have any advice for the interview? I just got an email today about doing it on the 29th and now I'm nervous because I haven't had to do any interviews for nursing schools yet!
