UTMB Fall 2010 Application period starts tomorrow Nov. 15, 2009
Who here is applying for it?
Btw, there is the ATI TEAS entrance exam for FALL 2010.
Anyone taken it yet?
I can't seem to find the registration for it in the atitesting.com.
I had a guy and he was great! Just try to make conversation/small talk on the way to the office. they take you to their own office so its not as formal. I was not nervous at all like I thought I would be. But do not answer a question that is not 100% true.. they know if you are making something up. I already sent my packet back in! I am getting so excited to start and its till 5 months away!
nadyamelikian - I am not moving down there I will be commuting... i only live about 30 miles away...
I was very surprised with how relaxed it was. I was able to find an "in" with my interviewer. She likes horses and low and behold, I have a degree in Animal Science, and use to breed horses for a living. I am hoping that will help her to remember me.
If I get in, I will be moving to the island, I live up in Spring --> I think that commute would kill me, plus I'd like to be as close as possible to all avaliable resources. (study groups, etc.)
I swear, it has only been 2 days since my interview and I am checking my email and this site OBSESSIVELY!
Good luck on next Monday! And may those of us who don't know yet be able to sleep well until we do! :0)
Good luck to those who have interviews coming up. To tell you the truth I was expecting the interviews to be more formal than they were. I'm glad they were relaxed because I was able to relax a bit more. My interviewer even sat down and had a cookie with me before we went back to her office. Such a nice lady.
If I get in I will be commuting about 30 minutes myself. We should get a carpool group together.
Just something I wanted to add about the interview. I noticed a lot of you also thought it was going to be more formal. I had also thought that the person interviewing us would have read our essay or looked over our application before they met with us. So heads up for all of you going on Monday, they pretty much know nothing about you, and you have to let them know everything. Don't assume they know you have a 4.0 GPA and have three years of volunteer experience at a hospital, ect. Tell them.

Hey everyone,
I just had my interview on Monday March 22, it went really well; don't be nervous! Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. My interviewer was a nurse administrator and she was probably one of the coolest nurses I have ever met. Just relax and there was really no preparation needed, just the usual why you chose nursing, what qualities do you have that attribute to nursing, etc.
Are you guys planning on moving to the island and getting apartments there or commuting from the main land?
