UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

I took General Biology loooong ago. Lol. I somehow retained most of the info and it helped me alot for A&P. I'll be taking A&P this coming spring semester.

How many prereqs do you have left to take?

Hey yall! My stats for the UTMB application are:

Overall GPA: 3.5

Science GPA: 3.8

TEAS: 84.7

I hope we all get in. I turned in my application on the 13th, and I have not received the supplemental info portion of it...so I am a little worried because I turned it in so late!! I hope I still have a chance.

You're good! As long as you turn in the NursingCAS app before Jan 15. It takes a while for NursingCAS to verify your grades. Once they've done that, you'll receive the supplemental app really soon.

Hello so once Nursing CAS verifies your application that is when UTMB will email you the supplemental application, fill out the supplemental application and pay the $45.00 dollars once you do that you should receive three emails from UTMB on setting up your MY Star account with UTMB then from there you can check your status of your application. Hello all! Just thought I would post on here in hopes of calming my anxiety during the waiting process. I submitted my supplemental application on 1/3 and am trying to be patient. I read on previous posts that applicants don't hear much until the end of February, hoping it's sooner rather then later.

Perhaps it's due to an overwhelming mass of applications since it was so close to the deadline, just a guess, I feel like there is a long game of waiting in this process. It took about two days for me to receive a supplemental application.

I paid for my application on the 12th so it has been a few days sigh

Anyone know what is the average GPA & TEAS scores of those who were accepted ?

Trying to make raw guesses on my chances to get in here :/

I believe you can email admissions to get the answer to your question. They are very responsive and helpful as I've asked them plenty of questions before and always received a response.

However, upon reading past threads, there seems to be a wide range of scores that they accept. If someone had lower scores but explained in the personal statement why that is so and did very well on it, they might get accepted. That's what it seemed like to me.
