Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)
Anyone else's app not verified? Mine says completed but not verified and I haven't gotten the supplemental yet either. One of my transcripts took a while and finally arrived Monday. Maybe that has held it up.

Mine was verified yesterday and received my supplemental a few hours later. Just waiting for my mystar info!
Just wanted to say that I email her and she said the same thing, to send the scores to her, because nursingcas wont accept them. That way she can send them to admissions to be updated :)
My app is finally verified, now waiting for my supplemental app. Oh, and I re-took the TEAS and did much better on the English part but worse on the Science; IDK what happened. I pray they will take the higher grade though.

Hoping I stand a chance. I just got my my-star account 2 days ago. Has anyone seen updates on mystar yet?
Your stats are good, it's just your science teas score is on the lower side. My friend got a 60ish on reading I think it was and they recommended her to take it again because it was under a 70 (she kept it as is, cause it's over 60).
Would we see any update on MYSTAR? I would think we would once we get accepted or denied?
I submitted my application on January 15th. My stats are:
Science GPA: 3.82
Overall prerequisite GPA: 3.91
Teas Overall: 91.3
Reading89.4
Math96.9
Science 91.5
English 87.5
I think I am a competitive applicant but since I submitted my application so late does this lower my chances of getting in?
Yes you are competitive! But yes, applying so late could affect you. Katherine from admissions basically told me that even if you're competitive and all spots are filled you're out of luck. Good luck!
