Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)
I have been reading this thread for a while and decided to join in.
I feel like my stats are not that competitive to all of those who have experience and great scores. I was wondering if I should retake my TEAS considering that some where given the opportunity to do so.
My stats are:
45 completed hours
Pre-requisite GPA: 4.0
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall TEAS score: 87.5
Science: 97
Math: 97
Reading: 88
English: 68
I honestly did not focus as much as I should have on the English section, hence the low score. That is why I would love to have a second opinion if I should retake my TEAS. Again, if given the same opportunity to do so.
i called a while back and was told that they would only take scores of test taken before the application deadline... i am assuming it depends on who you talk to... I will call again on Monday to see what they tell me. Would like to retake my TEAS, will email Ms.Botello too.
Keep in mind I didn't pass a section so that could be why. Also, she said the scores MUST be submitted by the end of the month. After that they won't be accepted.
Hey I have a question.. I seen that a prerequisites is philosophy does humanities count towards that? Because that's the only prerequisite I have left and it's too late to register this semester already to take that class.. and I live in Crosby! What about you?

Humanities does cover the Philosophy requirement. It also covers English Lit requirement as well.
