UTMB Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)

My stats are

TEAS:

82% Overall

-Reading: 85.1%

-Math: 87.5%

-Science: 78.7%

-English and Language Use: 75.0%

GPA: 3.9 Overall

Overall 3.1 (Bachelor's in Public Health)

Teas 84.7 [math: 87.5, science: 87.2, reading: 83, english: 75]

I submitted my app thru nursingcas on 1/14 and it says my app is completed and that's about it. I haven't received a supplemental app or the verified from nursingcas yet. Is anyone else also applying to other schools btw?

I also applied to UTA online BSN and UT health science for summer.

I have the same gpa! :/ I want to retake the teas because I didn't score as high on the science.. I'm also applying to lamar and my local community college

I emailed Katherine my stats and she said I was competitive from looking at my Teas score and gpa! So hopefully that gives me a good chance!! But yeah take the teas again so it can help!

Yes, I called and asked. I wanted to be sure before submitted if it was possible and to my relief it was.

Who did you talk to? And where are you sending them to after you take it again?

You can't. You have to retake the whole test.

I'm retaking the whole thing. I don't think you can take sections.

i called a while back and was told that they would only take scores of test taken before the application deadline... i am assuming it depends on who you talk to... I will call again on Monday to see what they tell me. Would like to retake my TEAS, will email Ms.Botello too.
