UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

I just got denied :( I'm going to re-apply for spring 2018. Are any of y'all who have gotten in re-applicants? And if so, what did you do differently the next time around?

I haven't received anything at all either, you're not alone!

anyone else still not receive anything at all? on an earlier post, i saw that applications were grouped & assigned to admission staff by last name, but i saw that someone with the same first letters as my name already got their interview & acceptance! should i be worried that i haven't gotten any correspondence by now?

I had Dr wisnewski. I went to the open house for a second time this past Friday so I could talk with some of the current students. I had a lot of my questions answered and I fell in love with the program and campus all over again.

So they haven't sent out 3rd round interviews yet and I still have some kind of hope right..?

Hi yall! I've been reading this for a while and decided it was time to chime in!

I interviewed on March 28th and haven't heard back. I interviewed with Ms. Pearrow, but it was a phone interview. It was supposed to be skype, but we couldn't get it to work. I'm worried that not having a face-to-face interview might have hurt my chances. Has anyone else done a skype/phone interview and heard back? I'm sure it's all in my head, but I'm still nervous about it!

Just curious, Did you have an interview? Or did they just send a denial letter? And what were your stats if you don't mind me asking.

I interviewed with Dr. Heard. Lol it looks like we all had different people interview us.

This makes me think what Hunter said is probably most accurate, that different interviewers turn in their lists at different times so when we hear back may be more random.
