UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

Hey y'all, check y'all's mySTAR accounts. Did y'all's to-do lists change? Mine changed to the classes I need to complete. If I remember correctly from previous forums, doesn't that change right before you receive acceptance? I'm getting hella anxious now. :nurse:

Mine has been sitting on the classes I need to complete since before my interview lol... so I hope thats good news for us! what did it have for you prior??

anyone else still not receive anything at all? on an earlier post, i saw that applications were grouped & assigned to admission staff by last name, but i saw that someone with the same first letters as my name already got their interview & acceptance! should i be worried that i haven't gotten any correspondence by now?

Maybe that person was accepted for the honors program? I am not sure if anyone has been accepted that had an interview and wasn't applying for the honors..

I wasn't applying for the honors program but was accepted after an interview! And apparently they still have 2 more waves of interviews and emails. So I wouldn't worry yet!

My To-Do list said nothing at all! It literally updated over-night. I tried to sign on late last night and it wouldn't load at all. I tried multiple browsers and refreshes and even switched from wifi to 4G. I knew something was up. And then I saw it changed this morning. I tracked down the previous post I had read and saw that someone's To-Do list changed on a Thursday, and they received their acceptance the next day, a Friday. I'm not saying it's definite by any means, but it does make me more hopeful. And anxious. Definitely anxious.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll be that lucky. :up:

If there's anything we've all been able to learn from this website and the process, it's that there's no dead-set way to expect what these people do and how they do it. But we still try anyways. :roflmao:
