  1. Normally I wouldn't be comfortable posting this but I really don't think anyone waiting to hear back should be nervous over getting a C. I got C/C+'s in A&P 1, A&P 1 lab, microbio lab, & logic (philosophy). If you made the requirements, you have a chance. My personal statement probably helped me the most because my GPA ended up okay (3.02 overall, 3.2 prerequisite) and my TEAS was decent (87.3). I didn't lose hope & ended up getting accepted, so neither should y'all!
  2. don't lose hope yet!! for fall, they started sending out interviews in february all the way through may, so there's still plenty of time
  3. what i heard was that the committee meets every few weeks, & at that meeting that's when the interviewers vouch for the people they interviewed that they think are a good fit
  4. i got accepted today too! i was waitlisted for fall & i interviewed with that app cycle in may, so i guess they don't require you to be interviewed twice. anyway, looking forward to meeting y'all in a few months!!
  5. hi everyone! i was waitlisted for the fall semester and am currently waiting to hear back for spring! (i applied at the deadline) i saw some comments about people being worried about their stats so i thought i'd share mine. i'm not sure how to find my nursing prereq GPA but on nursingcas my natural science GPA is 2.94 and overall GPA is 3.04. TEAS: math-96.9 reading-83 english-100 science-76.6 overall-87.3 as you can see, my GPA was pretty low and i did have to wait til near the end of the application cycle to get an interview but i think it shows that UTMB really considers all parts of your application, so if you're doubting yourself based on your GPA, don't lose hope!
  6. I just got the email about getting on the waitlist too! I met a few people that were on the waitlist then got accepted in August so don't lose hope y'all
  7. i thought that at first, but i think it just explains why it took so long to get the interview invitation. if you search for the official facebook page for this class, you can find how many people have been accepted so far (to see how many spots are left)
  8. I just got a call to come in for an interview yesterday! The email was titled "Wait List Interviews" so I guess that means the people coming in were waitlisted for interview spots. This is also the 5th week from that email we got, so I expect that if you didn't hear anything at all, you should be getting something this week.
  9. i'm still waiting, but it's only been about 2 weeks since they sent the email so i'm not really anticipating hearing anything until the next week. all the waiting is killing me though í ½í¸
  10. Thank you! I just called & I'm 6th on the list. With my stats, I didn't think I'd even be considered so I'm staying optimistic
  11. does anyone know the number to call to find out where i am on the waitlist?
  12. anyone else still not receive anything at all? on an earlier post, i saw that applications were grouped & assigned to admission staff by last name, but i saw that someone with the same first letters as my name already got their interview & acceptance! should i be worried that i haven't gotten any correspondence by now?
