UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

I am in the same boat! UTMB is my first choice, but I have to find out by May 1st or I pay for a $2,000 laptop at my other school's Summer Program. I interviewed about 5 weeks before May 1st, so I am hoping that I will hear sooner than later!

Its FRIDAY! Which (hopefully) means we could hear great news for us! I'm keeping a positive attitude that today is THE day for those of us who already interviewed and those who are waiting to hear will get an opportunity to interview with this next round. **THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS!!**

I'm hoping we all hear something today!! I interviewed March 20th, and its nerve-racking to see people get accepted who interviewed after me. I've been refreshing my email 100x a day, lol. Oh, and a huge congrats to those who have been accepted !!! :)

Since they meet on Mondays, and they most likely met on March 27th, I don't think we will hear until next week unfortunately :( But its all a guessing game really!

I'm hoping with next week being Good Friday and they will be off, that maybe they'll make a decision and release some today instead of holding off an extra week but who knows.

The only important email I got was a special offer from Pizza Hut. It isn't UTMB admission, but it'll have to do for now. We'll get 'em next week. ;)
