UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

@Sandybee I had mine Friday (3/31)! They told me 2-4 weeks. Don't stress!

Do they really only send out emails on Fridays?

I originally thought so, but I actually made a spreadsheet for the past 3 completed application cycles (Fall 2016, Spring 2017, and Summer 2017) completely based on information shared on allnurses.com forums (strange, I know) and it doesn't look that way to me anymore. There are a whole lot of Tuesdays too, and a few here and there otherwise. I wouldn't bet on Friday, or Tuesday, or any other day of the week honestly. I don't think there's any good way to predict anything these people do. :banghead:

Well crap! But you are definitely dedicated. Maybe we'd be Monday notifiees! Hoping it's sometime this week.

I went and read through previous terms as well! People were notified all on different days of the week, even some Mondays! I guess it's just a guessing game for us í ½í¸…

Do y'all think there is a chance that we will still find out Friday with it being a holiday?

Honestly, no idea. I don't want to bet on any day but I am hoping to hear this week.

My sister works for UTMB (not with the SON, but nonetheless) and she said she doesn't think that they have this Friday off either. Hopefully they release something soon!
