I've been creeping on this thread for a really long time now.? I just called utmb and they said they will be sending out letters all this week. I just wanted to inform the people that are still in limbo like myself.

hey guys i also got in, i was taken off the waiting list i think last week or so, but i already accepted my offer at texas tech and completed everything im required to do with them, so i wont be accepting utmb. on the brightside another spot should be open.

teas 78 or 79 cnt really remember

i just thought to post that so people with lower stats know its possible to get in, coz all i see are high stats most of the time.

I am! I called early last week because my MyStar account was funky and while I was on the phone I asked when they would be sending out letters to confirm the auto admit spots so we can then confirm them and be 100% sure we are good for the spring and she said by the end of this week she's sending them

I have not been keeping up at all with this thread, and did not go back to read the last 15 or so pages I have missed. I wanted to mention, for the people still waiting for answers, that I received a call from UTMB yesterday and I am apparently ranked first to get off the wait list, currently. I was also told some faculty will be out of the office till the very end of July, so I might not receive a call until then. I will be declining if I do end up getting in for the fall as I am attending UTHSC-Houston. Anyone that is on the wait list, get ready! (: I believe they will be pulling off from it more at the beginning of August! You may be going to nursing school in the fall! (: (:

I hope that brightens someones day. (:

So I just got a call from UTMB and they told me they have a spot for me for this fall... However I haven't received an official acceptance letter, apparently I am wait listed but I never got an email saying that I was. The person I talked to sent me an email to get my fingerprinting done, so I'm assuming they wait on those results to make you an offer? She said she will be sending me more information regarding the background check and fingerprinting process early next week... I am super excited about the possibility of going in this fall. @Bg123 do you have any info that could help me since you were wait listed also?

You get your fingerprinting/background/drug test after you are accepted. It sounds like you are already in, but if you are still not sure you should probably just call and clarify it.
