UTMB FALL 2014

I would like to start a thread for UTMB FALL 2014 since there I cannot find one. I am in the process of applying and this is the only school I am applying to. Right now, I just trying to finish my personal statement before I can submit it. I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time.So, how is everyone else doing?

@cassidy: I'm so sorry and I can't believe that happened! Did they give you any explanation as to why? I am still pulling for you and hope you get good news soon!

So the interview went well, I thought. Now I just have to wait. Hopefully not too long. I'm going to try to refrain from checking the website every day, multiple times a day.

Anyone else have any news?

I officially paid my deposit for the nursing school and am set on going to UTMB this fall! I was accepted into the honors program today and I was really excited to hear the news and I'm beyond grateful for such a great opportunity! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone this fall! For everyone with interviews coming up soon and for everyone waiting on an admission decision, good luck and keep your head high! :)

@Cassidy. I couldn't see your interview being the reason you got put on hold, it's only a small factor! But that's so strange... I'm wondering if maybe it's how they maybe keep their options open (which is really sucky...) to make sure they don't miss someone in later interviews... Idk, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you'll be taken off hold soon and for the good aspect of it!

Well they accepted other applicants... Which makes me wonder what is different about me. But I think you are exactly right, they are keeping their options open. They told me at my interview (Feb 10th) approximately two weeks that a decision will be made, something changed. I appreciate it!

Thank you so much! They did not. I asked, via email response. Hopefully I can get an answer in the am... but I highly doubt it. I am surprised myself.

So they are done with the interviews for the honors program? And congratulations to everyone with good news! And keep your head up to the people still waiting! Can't wait to meet everyone in the program this Fall! :)

@CristyRanc did you have your interview at 9 am? Because I think I maybe saw you in the parking garage afterwards? If not...... I just saw a random person. I hope your interview went well!

@kchua7 I had my interview at 12, and I think it went pretty good. If you had your interview on the same day, have you heard anything yet? I check my email & mystar acct all day long! Let's stay positive!

I had my interview Friday at four. I have heard that the committee who picks people for the program meets on Mondays!

You are correct. If they are for sure about you they'll make a decision fairly fast.

I check my satus everyday. Agh its so scary. I am so worried...what if my email isn't working right? Or what if the email got lost in cyberspace and I missed an interview lol. I'm scared lol.
