UTMB Fall 2012

HI! I am applying for the traditional BSN program at UTMB that starts Fall 2012. I am taking my TEAS this friday and I wanted to know if anyone else here is applying for the same semester. Hopefully there are others so I don't have to be nervous alone!!

Did y'all confirm that this accepted to start in fall 2012 will graduate in December 2013? I asked my interviewed and she gave me an u clear answer.

we will graduate december 2013, i confirmed yesterday. they did away w/ summers off. we'll have 4 straight semesters.

For all of you still anxiously waiting, I wanted to let you know some information that was passed along to me....I had to speak with the director of enrollment services on the behalf of another student yesterday and this is what I was told...

*Due to the large number of applications we have for the School of Nursing this semester, we are processing as quickly as possible but will likely not be completed for a several weeks still. *

However, all of the applications will be reviewed.So there ya have it, there will be more than three rounds, so don't despair!!! Just keep your faith and try to stay distracted. I know that's easier said than done, but all the worrying and fretting won't speed up this process!! The *usual* notification time is 3 weeks, so those who - those of you who were notified sooner had a stroke of good luck. So if you're still waiting, that doesn't spell doom!!

If you've accepted admission and haven't gotten a message from me, would you please let me know!! I have some info for those who were accepted!!

Those burnt orange scrubs are burning a hole in my shopping cart! I really want to buy them!

I started prepping for nursing school in general this week to keep busy. I Made doctor appointments to complete needed immunizations, initiated background check, wiped my old iphone to get it ready to be my pda, and priced out supplies. I'm so beyond ready to be an official nursing student and get out of this holding pattern!

rmegster - i have already done my immunizations, and i ran a background check on myself right before i applied. i have just about everything together except for my cpr class for health care providers. i am looking at taking that at the end of this month. i just wanted to warn you that if you have not already done your background check, i would wait.... apparently if you do it before you are accepted, they will make you do it again.... which means you gotta pay again. i knew this when i ran my check, i needed to check to make sure my sisters didn't have anything put under my name they have pretended to be me before

Hey guys so I have a problem that I need help figuring out...I have a class c misdeamenor from last year and forgot to disclose it in my application (overlooked the question). Already had an interview last week but have not heard back yet. When is a good time to let the school know that I left this out unintentionally and would like to disclose that information now?
