Utica University - FNP Online Program

Hi My Fellow Nurses,

My name is Letisha, and I live in Brooklyn, NY. I am seeking an online Family NP Program. I know about Frontier, Downstate and Utica College. Does anyone have any reviews about Utica's online FNP program? I know it's a relatively new program. Any info is very much appreciated!

Hi everyone, I just registered for the spring 2020 session the classes listed in the email however just the first part of it, it keeps saying duplicate class CRN doesn’t exist for the second part .. it’s not just me right or do we automatically get enrolled in the second part of it?

Hi I see that you and Yankeegirl are both from Brooklyn, I graduated from State College in FL and its been a struggle since I relocated back to find a FNP school online that would take a NY applicant. Second, I really need a school that will accommodate my work schedule. I applied to Utica this week I am wondering are you ladies going into the Spring or Fall of 2020?

Also any recommendations as to where I can get fingerprinted? I found a few places online but any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hi ! So I’m in for spring 2020, was thinking of deferring to fall but I think I’ll leave it now it is. The fingerprints I did at my local precinct but they ended up rejecting it and it has to be done again. I’m sure you will get in, I’m not sure how thr schedule will be however currently I work five days a week looking to change to three 12 hour shifts so I have time to study

Same here.. My first choice would have been Fall 2020 but on the website the only option was Spring 2020 so I will see how it goes. I wish I could do 12hrs. I will check my local precinct... thank for the information and I will update my status as soon as I get a response.

Hi ! Nice to meet you :) I just spoke to that advisor yesterday on the phone , they do these new student calls to introduce themselves so basically was just asking if I had any questions about the program but most of my questions were geared more towards when the dates for finals and stuff were... other than that I don’t think I had any questions but yes let’s exchange !
