Utica University - FNP Online Program

Updated:   Published

Hi My Fellow Nurses,

My name is Letisha, and I live in Brooklyn, NY. I am seeking an online Family NP Program. I know about Frontier, Downstate and Utica College. Does anyone have any reviews about Utica's online FNP program? I know it's a relatively new program. Any info is very much appreciated!

It's no different like another average online program. There's tons of self study and u have to find your own cites. I passed boards last Friday

Hi everyone! Anyone starting Uticas FNP this Fall 23? Any insight or tips for this program will be greatly appreciated.

@SM24 Did you start? How's it going so far? Do you have any recs for study material? I start Jan 2024.

Did you guys end up finishing the program? I'm in it now and it has been a rollercoaster just looking for some support and hints of how is it.

anyone have the sylabus old or new for nur 611 health assessment, would greatly appreciate it. thank you!

Would it be okay if I reached out to you regarding the program at Utica? Thank you

Hi all! I just found out about this program and am hoping I can find someone who still frequents this site who is willing to share their experiences with the program. I'm torn about which NP I want to study, and FNP is on the list. I have very old credits, and went to school at a time where not everyone had 4.0's LOL. I feel like this may hold me back from getting in somewhere, and I worry about the quality of the education I will get if I do end up settling for a program that isn't good. Feel free to message me if you want to chat 🙂

Hi Sarah,

no I didn't.. and I've been accepted. Just wondering how the reviews for the program is..

Hi there, did you started the program there and if so, how has it been? Good day!  Are you almost finishing the program? Is it really a lot of self studying in all core classes? A lot of tests and hard? Any feedback would be appreciated.  Or you can PM me. Thank you and good luck!

I'm in NY, and it's so hard to do FNP online in NYS cause they don't accept many outsides schools. If I lived in jersey, or out of NY, I would have just stuck to Chamberlain's FNP program

Good day, did you apply to any? I feel the same and live in NY.  I got my BSN from Chamberlain and regreted that I didn't applied their MSN propram when it was available. And bot much info can be found online on reviews either.

Hi, no they have a class that started in May this year I believe. I would really like to hear from any of them. Also, according to my advisor, there are already about 100 something students registered for classes which starts Sept 2. I'm nervous. In order for accreditation to be given, the first class must graduate. That will take about 2-3 years.

Good day, Did you finished the program? Are you able to PM me? I m new here and cannot PM anyone yet. Thank you!
