Utica University - FNP Online Program

Hi My Fellow Nurses,

My name is Letisha, and I live in Brooklyn, NY. I am seeking an online Family NP Program. I know about Frontier, Downstate and Utica College. Does anyone have any reviews about Utica's online FNP program? I know it's a relatively new program. Any info is very much appreciated!

I believe accreditation was obtained by Utica College for FNP program. there is a letter circulating for current students that suggest accreditation.

Yes, they are accredited!!

I am so glad that we are finally accredited! Now we don’t have to worry about it anymore and just focus on passing classes!

Hey, u have time to do them. They require them 6 months about before going to clinicals.

Hello nurses! Does anyone know a student who graduated from Utica FNP program? Or a student in their second clinical semester? I am in my first clinical semester and I am having issues with passing some of the classes due to the graduate policy that says we must have a grade of B in the average of the quizzes and the exams to pass a course, regardless of all other assignments. 

Please help!

I believe to my knowledge this is a pretty hard and fast rule. I don't really know of anyone who has challenged this concept and had a different outcome. I'm sorry... I'm in 622 (graduating May) and this has been the course thus far with the 84 average. It's a *** rule that we have all had our gripes with. If it's any consolation, I think 621 is harder than 622 has been thus far (quiz and test wise) if you can get through this semester, there's hope for next! Best of luck
