UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15

Published

Hey guys!

So the application to start in the Fall of 2015 is due on February 1st. Really, that is right around the corner if you think about it!

Let this thread be dedicated to all hopefuls!

I still have to take the Teas V, but I did buy the study guide with 2 tests so hopefully that helps. My cumulative GPA will be 3.2ish and my pre-req GPA will be close to 4.0. I'm extremely anxious about getting in that is for sure!

I'm making sure that I'm super busy this weekend to make it go by super fast! Lol I'm trying to figure out something to do on Monday because I can't check my email on my phone I can only check it when I'm at home so I'm planning a shopping trip to keep me out of the house and away from checking my email every 5 minutes hahaha

So I'd say this is the official group of contenders for fall 2015! At least we made it this far without a scary rejection email. Only Afew more days (fingers crossed)

I have more speculations. Remember my microbiology class from lab tech school might not have counted? I think it counts but you never know what they think. Anyways. If it wouldn't have counted it would have been considered an incomplete transcript for which I would have gotten a similar rejection letter that other people have gotten. So I say for sure that rejection letters are done and over with.

I hope they are and I'm glad that they took your class!!! We all deserve a chance!!

I swear the more you want something to happen fast the slower it takes so come! COME ON MONDAY!!

Specializes in ICU.

You guys, reading this thread and reading about y'all stressing out is stressing me out. Sadly, I haven't been too stressed because we have a set date. Come Monday I will be a mess though.

I was reading some of the old threads and there was a suggestion to start a Facebook group. I think that would be a great idea.

That's a good idea! Maybe after everyone gets their final acceptance emails and stuff we can create one and make it official :)

I'll be on it as soon as we get offical word back!

Sounds good to me.

Sorry for the double post, but I met up with a friend of mine who applied to this coming Fall too, and he said he heard back with a rejection email as well, but apparently, he was turned down because his grades weren't good enough or something. So, I'm wondering if they're sending out these emails for both incompleteness and lack of adequate GPAs/TEAS scores? I thought they had sent them out for just the former reason.

So now I really believe my previous speculation! Unless his was below 2.5 and 3.0 for math sci?
