UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15

Hey guys!

So the application to start in the Fall of 2015 is due on February 1st. Really, that is right around the corner if you think about it!

Let this thread be dedicated to all hopefuls!

I still have to take the Teas V, but I did buy the study guide with 2 tests so hopefully that helps. My cumulative GPA will be 3.2ish and my pre-req GPA will be close to 4.0. I'm extremely anxious about getting in that is for sure!

I really hope we know tomorrow. All of the schools I applied to are way behind in releasing decisions, and I am over it!

Where else did you apply? I applied to SAC, and their original deadline was January 17th and they extended it to March 21st! So who knows when I'll be hearing from them lol

It'd make my weekend if we found out tomorrow!!! I got an email from UIW that we won't hear anything till mid-April due to unforeseen circumstances not sure if anyone else applied there! But of course that's my second choice :(

Every time my phone makes a "new email" noise my heart jumps. I'm a wreck! And it doesn't help that at work all my nurses jeep saying to me, "you're almost done with nursing school right?". Although it was pretty darn funny when at change of shift my charge said, "we don't hear til Monday! Leave B alone!"

That's how it is for me too! My RN IBCLC and I would get done with a consult today and I'd be like oohhhh I felt my phone buzz! And she's like let's check let's check! Nope awwww.... Were doing mango margaritas if I'm accepted!

Ok, after sweeping my phone down to refresh my email like 50 times today, I think I'm clear for now. ..man, this is nerve wracking. Hurry up Monday!

Omg I know Ive checked my email literally like every 5 minutes!!! I'm in the clear for now too!! If I don't get a rejection letter tomorrow then I still have a chance!!! Lol

I rarely check my email, but ever since the beginning of March I have been checking it nonstop. Wake me up when Sunday ends!:wacky:

I feel like those were the letters to people who just had things that were incomplete. I'm curious to know whether they will send out the actual rejection letters to the ones that were considered for admissions on the same day that they send out acceptances?

I was wondering the same thing. I know that's what they did in previous years, not that that means anything anymore, as had been mentioned. However, everyone that seems to have been denied seems to have been missing things on their

application.
