UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15

Hey guys!

So the application to start in the Fall of 2015 is due on February 1st. Really, that is right around the corner if you think about it!

Let this thread be dedicated to all hopefuls!

I still have to take the Teas V, but I did buy the study guide with 2 tests so hopefully that helps. My cumulative GPA will be 3.2ish and my pre-req GPA will be close to 4.0. I'm extremely anxious about getting in that is for sure!

Well that blows if they're not basing it of the percentages I feel like I have no chance now :(

Ok so it seems they're sending out "declining" emails of acceptance now. Someone in my first aid class got one and didn't get in because she forgot something on her NURSINGCAS application..yea, she sounded pretty irate about it too, saying the school isn't good anyways, etc...so there ya go.

Ok so it seems they're sending out "declining" emails of acceptance now. Someone in my first aid class got one and didn't get in because she forgot something on her NURSINGCAS application..yea, she sounded pretty irate about it too, saying the school isn't good anyways, etc...so there ya go.

One of my friends got his too. It said that he would not be considered for admissions because he was missing transcripts. He turned them all in before deadline. He called Brandy and she said that nursing cas had said that he submitted after Feb. 1st (which he didn't). He called nursing cas and all they said was that they could send the transcripts over to uthscsa again.

It was yesterday around 3 P.M. It got me nervous about my application because if she is going alphabetically she probably hasn't even gotten to mine. Last name starts with an 'M.':(

The last name of the person I was mentioning started with an M too I think.

Edit: she said she forgot to include this semesters classes or something. But I don't know if the classes she forgot are required prerequisites (First Aid isn't)

I feel like I'm in the clear then. My last name starts with G and I haven't gotten a denial letter.

It was about an hour ago. That was when we walked into class and she came in and asked me if I got an email.

At this rate, I really doubt we are going to hear by Monday the 30th. We are half way through the week and they haven't even started to rank us yet :yawn:
