Hey guys!
So the application to start in the Fall of 2015 is due on February 1st. Really, that is right around the corner if you think about it!
Let this thread be dedicated to all hopefuls!
I still have to take the Teas V, but I did buy the study guide with 2 tests so hopefully that helps. My cumulative GPA will be 3.2ish and my pre-req GPA will be close to 4.0. I'm extremely anxious about getting in that is for sure!
I asked about the ranking and she said they no longer go by the 59% on teas test, 30% math and since gpa etc. She didn't really go in to detail on how they ranked us just that it was going to be different this year. My guess is that it became more even between the 4 because she encouraged me to still apply.

I thought we were the last cycle that the rank applied to
I just heard back from Brandy about this. When I went to an info session in November, we were told that the rankings would be based on the percentages (59% TEAS, 30% Math and Science GPA, etc). However, I just heard back that they are no longer "publishing" the way they evaluate applicants....so the percentages that we were told are no longer applicable. Not sure how the application evaluation process changed, but I know for sure that those strict percentages are not applicable towards Fall 2015 applicants. I feel pretty misled, seeing as I drove down to SA for an info session and based my application around what they told us. And then they changed it without a heads up!
I'm so glad I found this thread! I applied with a 3.95 math and science GPA and a 3.94 overall GPA, and scored a 86.7 on the TEAS. I wasn't expecting it to take so long to receive an acceptance/rejection email. I've been stressing out, checking my email like 5x a day.
Thanks for the reassurance! I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only one still waiting. Best of luck to you all!

I too have wondered about this! I read somewhere on the website that how they based their decisions is that they look at your TEAS score for 59%, your math/science GPA 30%, your overall GPA 10%, and your supplemental application 1% for what determines if you get accepted or not.
