I don't think any type of acceptance matters at this point. We are less then 2 weeks away from knowing so theres no point in being so negative y'all! Lets keep our heads up

Hii!! So I too applied at UTHSCSA and oh the wait is so dreadful. I had found this thread a while back and was like good I am not the only one freaking out lol. So i decided why not come back and get an account and join the waiting party! I really really really hope we get to know by next week, but if not I guess I will live. Anyways good luck to everyone!

I'm not too sure. When I called I was asking what to expect after we send in our applications (like what emails to expect and when were suppose to get them) becasue I have a friend thats already a student at uthsc and I was going off what she told me to expect but Brandy said not to go by what my friend said because the application process for our semester is totally different. So what she meant by that I have no clue! I'm assuming that they're not going to be sending everything out alphabetically like they have in the past and stuff like that.

Hi guys! :) So I applied for Fall 2015 at UTHSCSA, and it's nice to have found a group of people that are waiting with me. I literally checked my email 3+ times today in case something had come through (even though I know it probably won't be until later this month). I'm so excited but nervous!!!!

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but the stats for the spring class are better than the historical 25% acceptance rate. There were 351 applicants with 155 offers for the spring 2015 semester. (about 41%) The average overall gpa of those accepted was 3.39. The average math and science gpa was 3.51. The average teas score was 81.1. Why do I feel like someone said that we will hear on the 30th? Did I make that up? Should we all meet somewhere for an email watch party?

I was told by Brandy last Thursday that she didn't think she would be able to get admission emails out until Monday, March 30th. So, no, you didn't make it up. ðŸ˜Š

Even then, she was just guessing at the timing. She had just finished the summer accelerated admissions and had just started weeding through the Fall admissions. She told me that since my last name starts with an "A" and I didn't receive an email of ineligibility then I would be considered for acceptance. So, in other words, as of last Thursday she was going through our applications weeding out the people that do not qualify.

She also stated that she does not send out acceptance emails by last name. Once she has the applications that they are accepting she will send out a mass email to all of us who are accepted. The only flaw there will be how fast each of our email providers update our emails if that makes sense.

I think that's about all she said. If I think of anything else I will post again. Good luck everyone! We should get our emails by April 1st for sure and hopefully by March 30th is all I know!

As far as meeting up....I will be in classes all day on Monday. Checking my email all day...ðŸ˜
