Hello! So I had seen threads started for past classes and didn't see one yet for the Fall of 2014 class, so I figured I would start one. So let me introduce myself. My name is Will Long, I am a 27 years old male and I am applying for UTHSCSA's Traditional BSN program for the Fall of 2014. I have started my application and have signed up to take the TEAS test next Friday. I am pretty excited about finally being able to apply after finishing up all the pre-reqs. Anyways I was hoping this thread could be used a source of information and a place to ask each other questions throughout the application process. Anybody else out there applying? Have you already taken your TEAS test?

Check your junk mail ladies and gentlemen!! I just got an email saying that I'll be receiving the supplemental app on the 28th!! WOOHOO!!!!:) WE ARE ON OUR WAY!!!
FYI...I am at the beginning of the alphabet...from prior threads it seems that's how it worked...so start checking tomorrow...keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!
From my understanding we have to complete the Supplemental Application as a condition of admission...This is saying we made it to the "2nd round" so to speak...After having completed this (which accounts for the 1% of our consideration for admission per the website), we are then on to the final "round" of admissions...What is appears from prior classes though is that everyone that received the supplemental application was accepted... Let's just hope that is also the case with ours...Hope that helps everyone!
