Alright, just got home from taking the TEAS. It took me about an hour and forty-five minutes. There were only about 6 or 7 of us taking it. Your score is given to you right away on the computer. Now it's just wait and see; I assume the next step is the letter of admission/rejection. Crossing my fingers...

So how has it gone for you all so far? Anyone still waiting to take their TEAS? I think the last day to take it was next Monday so after that I think they would compile all the scores, GPAs, questionnaires, etc., and then make their decisions. I'm hoping that we hear something from them shortly after the beginning of October, but this is all just speculation on my part. CE or Kassi, how many people took the test with you? I was surprised with the low number in my group.

I think we had about 20 in our group, I confirmed with the assistant dean that they will send out acceptance letters early october.

I hope early october means before october 5th, which is when I scheduled my ut houston interview. I'd really rather not have to make an unnecessary trip to houston and back.

Hey hopefuls! Joining the thread a little late in the game but super excited for what we might hear in the next few weeks. Has anyone heard if they are notifying us by snail mail or email? Look forward to meeting some of you this spring.

My GPA is about 3.75 and my TEAS is 85. I dont know if i can get in to spring class:cry:.

Bond i don't think you have a thing to worry about! Sounds like you are on the right track to me! There is no standard we should worry about because every semester is diffrent and they also consider the essay. The lady in the admission office said they will choice a group of student to test first and then is they have spots left they invite others to be a second pool. look like we were the first group for sure so be excited that you are in the front running. Yeah...you're pretty much guaranteed with those grades. Unless you did absolutely awful on your questionnaire I see no reason to worry.

Hey y'all, welcome to the board Cali and Bond James Bond (sorry, I've been shortening everyone's screenname). Bond, I concur, you're pretty much in to the program with grades like those, I wouldn't worry. I hear they'll be notifying us by regular old mail, but don't take my word for it because it seems as if this admissions process is completely different from their previous ones. ******** says they'll be notifying us early October, I'm hoping it's the first week. They should already have our questionnaires graded/evaluated, and they need to wait for the last persons to take the TEAS by next Monday. Anyone still need to do that? Well, here's looking forward to that aceptance letter...

Thanks RN76! I hope they have already graded the essay/interviews. Glad to see other people as excited and hopeful as myself. The UTHSCSA website says that registration begins on Nov1 so i am sure that it will be early october so we can send in all of our vacinnations and pass our backround checks. This last week is very tough though!!
