I have applied to UTHSCSA and UIW Fall 2018... is there anyone else who is applying or has sent in their apps?? What are your stats?
UIW is just a smaller program, they don't take as many students as UT Health does. It's a very good school.Last year UT Health started integrating ATI and other tools to help students prepare more. That caused the big jump in the pass rates.
Hey Jen, I have a question about the required immunizations. Which ones are required for the program? And regarding Hep B, do I first get the titer then if not immune start the series?

These are the ones you need: Immunization Information - Student Health Center - UT Health Science Center-San Antonio
Regarding the Hep B - I *think* you have to just get it - all the others say you just need documentation or a titer except the hep b series. You can call and clarify though.
Good luck you guys! I hope you find out soon!

That is kind of a bummer that we do not find out until April 1st. I looked as well at other blogs, and they have all been in March and usually 2nd week. I wonder if they are just saying that. Boo, I just wanted to know.
