I have applied to UTHSCSA and UIW Fall 2018... is there anyone else who is applying or has sent in their apps?? What are your stats?
Thank you for that info, I know the Rediclinics at HEB do the TWINRIX for about $180-$190 plus any other additional fees for the service administration. They also do take insurance.I went with the health department because it was $10 lol broke college student at the moment
I understand, i might opt out for it. But, i have my shot records that show i was vaccinated in 1993.. i wonder if i just need a titer? So confused. $10 is cheap! Mine is $60 after insurance lol
I applied to UTHSCSA only and my stats are TEAS 80.7, overall GPA 3.633, and math and scienceGPA of 3.77what are your stats ?
Im so nervous and hope I get in!!
EDIT
Recalculated my math and science GPA consisting of the right classes for the math and science GPA..
A&P I/II, Nutrition, Micro, Chem I/II, College Algebra, and Statistics.
I took Nutrition, micro, and A&P I as Honors courses so I hope that helps :/
No biggie I took those courses in honors as requirements to graduate as a honors student :)
I was calculating my math and science gpa including my psychology classes and sociology which was putting me at about a 3.5.
But I read they calculate AP I&II, Micro, Nutrition, chemistry I&II, college algebra, and statistics, so with those I have a 3.77.

Also, there is a Hep B vaccine and a combined Hep A vaccine that is expedited in 4 weeks with a 1 year booster... it's called TWINRIX. It says it is for those who are in a time crunch, but it is twice as expensive as regular Hep B vaccinations. The websites say they will also accept those.
