UTHSCSA-Fall 2011

Hi All,

Since January 10th was the application deadline, do any of you have an idea as to when the earliest when we will hear from UTHSC-San Antonio? I already have my bachelor's degree in a non-nursing subject but I opted for the 2-year traditional route because the accelerated program just seemed too intense. Are there other 2nd degree folks out there applying to the 2 year program as well? Good luck to you all! I hope we are all there in the Fall!

are the decisions coming on friday for sure? or is it like.. they're going to START giving them out by april 1st? I HOPE WE ALL GET IN :]

I dont even know.. its so back and forth, I just wish they would give us a FIRM date! I do hope that they will start notifying via email by this Friday. I have a deadline to submit my package for the Air Force to pay my tuition.

Hi online friends and HOPEFULLY future classmates :)

I have 1 more prerequisite to take: Statistics. I am registering for this summer 1 session at Houston Community College but do you know if UTHSC-SA accepts ONLY Math Stats or Psych stats?

The Psychology Stats works better with my schedule but will it be accepted?

When I had a question about one of my classes I talked to Mr. Ashburn (when he was still there), and he just had me send him the class description via email.

I think the psych stats works, because that is what I took. I already have a degree in psych so they accepted that class.

I was told the e-mails would go out next week... and if I understood her correctly she said exactly 2 weeks from tomorrow that they'd be mailed out, as well. I'm guessing the e-mails will go out tomorrow... AHH!!! And the letters will GO OUT tomorrow so give a take couple of days / weeks depending on where you live.

So tomorrow... regardless... we all should be getting e-mails about our admission status: accepted, rejected, or wait-listed. I wish everyone luck! The anticipation is definitely killing me, too. I just want to fast forward to the program already! Good luck, again, to everyone!!! :)

Eeeeeek! I am right there with you folks! I preemptively planned a "Happy or Sad" hour tomorrow evening with my friends for tomorrow's D-DAY! I figure if I am accepted then it will be a celebration and if I am rejected then at least I will be surrounded by supportive loved ones.

that is a very good idea! too bad I'll be working all day. It'd be real bad to be rejected while I'm at work because then I'll just be crying on my customers shoulders

I don't know about you all but I have analyzed pretty much every and any email I have received from the school and then have tried to calculate the time of the day they will send us our emails tomorrow. I estimate it will be in the afternoon at some point. I only estimate this because I received one email at 11 am, one email at 3 pm and one email at 6:24 pm (?!), therefore, I deduce that UTHSCSA is not a morning person/entity. haha.

good deduction!! lol.. if that is the case, it will be the next day (saturday) before I see an email unless I stay up really late. I am 7 hours ahead of central time zone. I just need to know one way or the other so I can stop having nightmares! I am still scared about my TEAS Score, but hopefully it wont hurt that bad.. Best of luck everyone!
