UTHSCSA-Fall 2011

Published

Hi All,

Since January 10th was the application deadline, do any of you have an idea as to when the earliest when we will hear from UTHSC-San Antonio? I already have my bachelor's degree in a non-nursing subject but I opted for the 2-year traditional route because the accelerated program just seemed too intense. Are there other 2nd degree folks out there applying to the 2 year program as well? Good luck to you all! I hope we are all there in the Fall!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!! I prayed this morning for you all and my classmates so I hope we can all meet one day...at orientation:D

Over half way through the business day and nothing yet! I hope your deduction of e-mails in the afternoon is valid!!! Still waiting patiently (as one can!!). :)

Just called! They're working on getting the notifications out, but everyone keeps calling! LOL! They're so friendly there, I really hope I get in now!

STOP CALLING EVERYONE!

haha.

This is really starting to feel like a cruel April Fool's Day joke.

My stomach is in knots!

is everyone else having the longest day ever?? :( i keep checking my email every ten minutes! GOOD LUCK everyone!

YES! It's like waiting for an important phone call and checking to see if your phone still works *picks up phone to hear dial tone* LOL! I keep refreshing my inbox!

I actually just got my email and i was placed as an alternate.

i got put on the alternative list as well.

I guess Im joining the alternate list crowd too.. :crying2: Im so hurt, but figured my TEAS score would do me in.. I had the GPA though.. I dont know what this means. does this pretty much mean we might as well try again next year?

I got accepted :)

I think being waitlisted does not necessarily mean that you are rejected. A lot of people give up their spots throughout the summer, etc. and then the alternates are made offers. Texas State @ Round Rock still has open application and UTMB Galveston has open applications to matriculate January 2012. Keep up the hope!

I am new to allnurses.com, but I have been reading the posts for sometime. Congratulations to all those who got accepted. I got a conditional offer of admission. Does anyone know what that means? Thanks!
