UTHSCSA-Fall 2011

Hi All,

Since January 10th was the application deadline, do any of you have an idea as to when the earliest when we will hear from UTHSC-San Antonio? I already have my bachelor's degree in a non-nursing subject but I opted for the 2-year traditional route because the accelerated program just seemed too intense. Are there other 2nd degree folks out there applying to the 2 year program as well? Good luck to you all! I hope we are all there in the Fall!

I actually just got my email and i was placed as an alternate.

i got put on the alternative list as well.

I guess Im joining the alternate list crowd too.. Im so hurt, but figured my TEAS score would do me in.. I had the GPA though.. I dont know what this means. does this pretty much mean we might as well try again next year?

I think being waitlisted does not necessarily mean that you are rejected. A lot of people give up their spots throughout the summer, etc. and then the alternates are made offers. Texas State @ Round Rock still has open application and UTMB Galveston has open applications to matriculate January 2012. Keep up the hope!
