Yeah, I want something affordable and with everything I would need. It would be great if there was internet included as well. Lol. I prefer living on my own, but then again, a room mate wouldn't be too bad. Plus the cost will be much cheaper. I was going to look at apartments soon, but decided to wait until July that way I can look and lease and find a better deal then. I was looking for the Clear Lake or League City area, but at this point I'm even considering living on the island so I wouldn't have to commute far to school. I could manage traveling a bit for clinicals since it's only once or twice a week.

Can y'all give some suggestions on where y'all are looking at apartments? I'm looking for something reasonable and I guess a roommate would be nice. :) Thanks and congrats to everyone who was accepted! Can't wait until the fall!

For those of you who have been accepted. Have any of y'all been able to accept the offer through MyStar? I've already sent in my letter saying I accept the offer and have e-mailed Liz. Just wondering.

Thank you. Hmph. My stats weren't that great, but I had a lot of explaining to do. GPA: 3.3 TEAS: 74 I had no drops. But I retook Chemistry and Statistics. I had C's originally and then received in A in both.

Hey did they tell you how many people they were interviewing and how many were accepted? I asked today during my interview and she told me they were interviewing EVERYONE. I find that hard to believe, and then she told us we should know before May 1st. Hopefully it's soon.

Sorry it took me awhile to respond to your question. I received an e-mail from UTMB for the interview. My gpa wasn't great. 3.1 and the teas score was a 74. I have no pre-reqs left. But I had a lot to explain in my essay, so I'm guessing that's what did it for me.

i have the same on my mystar. i don't know what to do, but i did receive an interview letter. i will probably ask them when i go get my interview.

I received my interview letter this morning at 11. I'm so excited! Does anyone know how many people they will be interviewing and how many they will be accepting? I'm really hoping I have a chance, now that I have made it this far. Congratulations to all who have received interview emails and good luck to those still awaiting to hear! Mine is the 25th at 9am.

I appreciate both of your replies. So, you are saying that there's a chance that I can get accepted in to UTMB SON with my science prereq being a 3.30 and my overall gpa 3.2 and my prereq being a 3.2. I have been researching non-stop for 2 weeks and I'm driving myself crazy. It's like I keep calculating my grade and I know it's not going to change. I really don't want to switch my major because it's like starting all over. I really want to do nurses, but I feel like my grades will set me back forever. With the essay, I'm not sure how to even start because I don't want it to be a sympathy essay, I want it to be meaningful.
