I'm just going to say something real quick about registering for classes. Don't be so stressed about registering on May 1st. I know that at some universities you have to wake up early just so you can register and get into the classes you want, but there are just enough spots for ever single student coming in. So if you register on May 5th or soon after May 1st it's okay.

This is just to ease your nerves. There are spots for you in the classes. No rush!

...and CONGRATULATIONS to all of ya'll. This is such a wonderful accomplishment! :yeah:

Hi all,I followed the orientation link. It says that orientation is 24 & 25 May. Is this correct? Because it also said for Summer 2010 (not Fall 2010). Thank you.

It has all the information about registration, etc.

Weird...we were just talking about registration and I just got an email from the school about registration! I am relocating to San Antonio, my husband and I plan to rent a house for a bit and purchase after we get to know the city better. Can anyone recommend neighborhoods to look at? (Or stay away from). I would like to remain near the univeristy (NE side). I dont mind driving a bit (like outside the big loop). Thanks!

I would recommend Huntington Place, good school system and about 15 minutes from the school.

I applied for the Accelerated track and just got word that I got in. I will need to move to San Antonio around the 20th of May .... can anybody recommend any safe, affordable apartment complexes that are close to campus?

Any help in the next couple of days would be great! Thanks!

For those NECP people it sucks that we won't find out if we are in or not until mid June. I am worried that I won't get into NECP and have to turn down the school. so stressful!

hey guys, i got in to the traditional program for fall and i was wondering if anybody was looking for a room mate to get an apt with? looking for another female, im 20 so hopefully someone around the same age. no smoking, no pets.

I just got accepted to the accelerated program that starts in a few weeks at UTHSCSA. I was just wondering when u were thinking about moving there. I'm obviously looking for a place now but if I possibly just sublease for someone through the summer then i may be looking for something new in august. i actually found an apt complex that is nice and close to campus and one of the 2bed/2bath floorplans i really like. let me know if you want to talk more! :)

You are so right this is worse than waiting on promotion results. To be have won half to battle by getting into Nursing school but still having the ax hanging over our heads waiting on the board results. Stressful and a little scary

To MurseHopeful and any other NECP student: I am on the global under Randolph. Type Gay and then i'm the only one with my first name (user name.) I can't respond to private messages so i had to respond on here. Good luck to everyone! I just am praying i get in to the NECP. I have no idea how many people they chose and how many people apply. Also i joined the facebook group: uthscsa fall hopefuls group and made a discussion thread for NECP.
