I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

Quick question, did y'all have to pay ASAP after accepting the admissions offer? I don't get paid until tomorrow afternoon and just don't want it to magically disappear. I'm not sure how long they give us to accept or decline.

If I remember correctly it has to be paid by the 20th or 22nd. You may be able to search through your online portal and find it.
I'm in yall's boat too kinda depressing since I never heard anything for Summer '16 and nothing yet for Fall '16...trying to stay as positive as possible and not worry about it, but of course WAY easier said than done.
Congrats to everyone who got accepted into the BSN program. UT is a great school and I'm sure each and everyone of you will love it too. I am currently a J1 student. If you have any questions, feel free to ask away. Best of luck to the ones who are still waiting. I was accepted 3weeks before the program started, so there is still hope. Don't give up :)
No news for me either....kind of nerve racking. I checked my email all day today. I am currently an LVN. HESI score 93%, CT 920, GPA 3.5. Never received transcript eval either
Does anyone think that if we haven't heard about acceptance yet that it means we probably didn't get accepted or am I just being paranoid???It just seems like so many people found out today, even my cousin got her acceptance earlier this afternoon and my account still hasn't been updated...
I hope they'll be more acceptances, there's still one more day till the 15th and some people will deny their acceptances and there is also the wait list.
