I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

Yes, mine changed the day I got the acceptance email. From previous posts others didn't change until days later. But they do send an acceptance email before anything else. Also, don't stress when you don't get an email for the first wave of acceptances. The first wave for us was Feb. 5 and I didn't get mine till Feb. 29th!
Lol!!!!!!!! Don't kill yourself lol!!! I'm laughing so hard because when I saw Jill comment in my email (because it was cut off) I was like oh crap they are sending out the letters lol I was sleep and all of a sudden I gained energy
Omg lol that is what happened to me when I was subscribed to the forums. I literally would check it every hour just hoping something changed! But no worries girls I'm sure y'all will get in :) do y'all have a back up plan of other colleges?
waiting to hear back from TAMUCC and UT Health for the fall 2016 semester. I had attempted to apply for summer 2016 at UT but didn't get to turn in my stuff before the deadline however, it still says that my app is complete for that semester so idk what that is all about lol
I haven't applied anywhere else, If I don't get in I may take patho in the summer and to open up my options a bit more.
@JillGoodson12, If you don't mind me asking what were your scores for your first HESI exam? You've made me even more excited seeing "realistic" scores getting accepted!
The first scores are based off of no study guide or practice tests. The second time I took it I ordered the study guide from Evolve which comes with 2 tests in the book and I also purchased 2 practice tests from Evolve
